How We Collect and Use Information

We collect the following types of information:

Information you provide us directly:

We ask for certain information such as your name, address, phone number, and email address when you register to purchase products from dailybrainbooster.com.  We may also retain messages that you send us through mail and email.  We use this information to operate and maintain the services and products that we provide through dailybrainbooster.com.  We will not publish this information publicly.

Information we may receive from third parties:

We may also receive information about you from third parties.  This information is often provided through your credit card company, or through other financial transactions that are conducted between you and dailybrainbooster.com.  This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address, phone number, or any information that you have permitted the third party to share with us.  You should always review and adjust your privacy selections with these third parties, such as your credit card carrier, and any other financial service that you utilize for on-line purchases.

Analytics information:

We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools and services, to help us measure website traffic and usage trends for the products and services that we offer.  These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including pages that you visit and other information that assists us in improving our website.  We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate such that it cannot be reasonably manipulated to identify a specific individual.

Cookies information:

When you visit our website, we may send a cookie- a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters- to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser.  This allows us to enhance your navigation through the website and its content.  A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the website, and allow us or our business partners to track your usage of the website and its products over time.  A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser.  Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the website.  Persistent cookies may be removed by following your web browser’s directions.  A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser.  You can reset your web browser to refuse cookies, or to notify you when a cookie is being sent.  However, navigation of the website may be suboptimal if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

Log file information:

Log file information is automatically reported to us by your browser or mobile device each time you use our website or its services.  Our servers automatically record certain log file information.  These server logs may include anonymous information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, pages viewed, how you interact with our website, and similar information.

Device identifiers:

When you access our website through a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor, and/or remotely store one or more “device identifiers”, such as a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID).  Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify this device.  A device identifier may be stored in connection with the device hardware, or stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software.  A device identifier may send us information about how you use our website, and this may remain on your device to facilitate your navigation through the website.  Some features of the website may not function properly if you impair or disable the use of device identifiers on your device.

Location data:

When you access the website via a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor, and/or remotely store “location data”, which may include GPS coordinates or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device.  Location data may provide us information about how you use the website, and some features of the website may not function properly if you impair or disable the use of location data on your device.

Commercial and marketing communications:

We use the information we collect or receive, such as your address, email address, or phone number, to communicate directly with you.  We may send you emails containing information regarding new products, promotions, and special sales.  If you do not want to receive such emails, you will be given the option to opt out or change your preferences.  We also use your information to send you service-related emails (e.g., purchase information, invoices, shipment tracking numbers, etc.).  You may not opt out of service-related emails.

Use of certain service type information that we collect about you:

We may use cookies, log file, device identifiers, and location data to:  (1) remember information so that you do not have to re-enter it during subsequent website visits;  (2) monitor the effectiveness of our website;  (3) monitor analytical data such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns; (4) diagnose or fix website technology problems, and (5) provide advertising to your browser or device.

Sharing of Your Information

We will not sell your information to third parties outside dailybrainbooster.com and its affiliates without your consent, except for the following:  We may share your information with third party business partners and other users for the purpose of providing our services to you.  Third party business partners will be given limited access to your information as is reasonably necessary to deliver our products and services, and we will also require third parties to comply with this Privacy Policy, or operate under a similar policy.

Instances where we are required to share your information:

Dailybrainbooster.com will disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement, or to protect the security, quality, and integrity of our products or services.

Sharing service type information that we collect about you:

We may share service type information (e.g., cookies, log files, device identifiers, and location data) with our third party business partners for the purposes described previously under “How We Collect and Use Information.”  We may also share aggregate, anonymous data with third parties that has been stripped of all personally-identifying characteristics.

The Dailybrainbooster.com Privacy Policy does not apply to the activities of third parties.  Please consult the respective privacy policies of these third parties for more information.

Your information collected through Dailybrainbooster.com may be stored and processed in the United States, or any other country in which our affiliates maintain facilities.  We may transfer information about you, including personal information, to affiliates or other third parties around the world.  If you are located in the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from United States law, please note that you consent to the transfer of information to the United States, which may not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.

Keeping your information safe:

Opting out of collection of your information:

Please refer to your mobile device or browser’s technical information for instructions on how to delete or disable cookies, and other tracking/recording tools.  Depending on your type of device, it may not be possible to delete or disable tracking mechanisms on your mobile device.  Note that disabling cookies and/or other tracking tools prevents Dailybrainbooster.com from tracking your browser’s activities in relation to our products and services, and may interfere with some website features and functions.

How long we keep your personal information:

We retain your personal information for a commercially reasonable time for audit, return, and refund purposes.
